New Music!! Raheem DeVaughn : Jackin 4 Beats Mixtape
Raheem Released his new mixtape "Jackin 4 Beats". Now i'm not a huge fan but I thought the track listing was pretty interesting. A few of the beats he "jacked" are Kanye West's hits "Power" and "Runaway", Chris Brown's "Dueces", Miguel's "All I want is You", Trey Songz "Can't be Friends", and Roscoe Dash's "All the way turnt up". Kind of catches your attention huh? Now the mixtape isn't free like most, it's $5. You can listen to the entire mixtape before you purchase by clicking below.

Usher's ex-wife Tameka starts twitter Beef with Kandi (formerly of Xscape)
So last night Kandi appeared on the Bravo show What Happens Live,a live mini talk show that comes on after Real Housewives of Atlanta. During the show the host Andy had Kandi & her mother participate in a little game called "Andy Coated" ( named after Kandi's online show Kandi Koated Nights). One of the questions was what celebrity would she sleep with and she said Usher cause she heard he was good in bed. She also went on to say right after that she really wouldn't do it cause they were friends. Kandi's mother's choice was Robert De Niro lmao idk what that's all about.
Ok here comes the drama. As soon as Miss Kandi mentioned Usher, some messy fan tweeted Usher's ex-wife Tameka Raymond this:
Now instead of Tameka acting like a grown 40 somethin year old woman and ignoring the instigator, she had this to say:
And you know somebody had to let Miss Kandi know that she was being talked about so here's what she had to say:
Now Tameka didn't respond back to Kandi directly but she did say this which makes no sense since she is the one that started the whole thing:
Kandi later tweeted this about her orginal Usher comment:
Tameka needs to get somewhere and sit down. She is still trying to ride the Usher train smh. She needs to realize that nobody cares about her old self. She is a disgrace to the bay.

Alicia Keys Organizes Celebrity Boycott of Social Media Networks to Raise Money for Charity
Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Ryan Seacrest, Elijah Wood, Serena Williams, Swizz Beatz and Janelle Monae have joined the new campaign Digital Life Sacrifice in partner with Alicia Key's Charity Keep A Child Alive. These celebrities, including Keys will sign off of all social media networks such as Twitter and Facebook on Wednesday December 1, for World Aids Day. The particpants will sign back on when the charity has raised one million dollars.
The participants have each filmed their "last tweet & testament" videos and will appear in ads showing them lying in coffins which represent their "digital deaths". The campaign will accept donations through text messages and bar-code technology, which is featured in the charity’s Buy Life campaign. Raised efforts support families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India.
“It’s really important and super-cool to use mediums that we naturally are on,” Keys said in a phone interview from New York last week.
“It’s about love and respect and human dignity,” she added.

Video: Young Buck Speaks on The Game, 50 cent & if G-Unit will ever get back together

Young Buck recently sat down with Tim Westwood for an interview. During the interview Westwood asked Buck would he ever reconcile with G-Unit. Here's what he had to say about that,
"Me going back? To be continued. I know the picture you was left with before you done seen Buck again. It was one big family. It was a movement and it was a beautiful movement and I think the fans enjoyed that and I think they want that still. I wouldn't definitely just turn down the situation at this point but it would have to be done in a genuine way as far as the whole movement of what it should be. It would just have to be done in a genuine way."
also touches on why he decided to end the beef between him and The Game. Watch the full interview below.
Is It Where You're From or Where You're At? Black Demographics and Creative Economics
Mai Perkins remembers attending a concert at Central Park SummerStage with Cassanda Wilson, partly because of an observation the jazz singer made about Perkins’ new city. “She made a comment that I thought was so applicable to the city’s diversity. She said, ‘California has landscape, New York has people-scape!’” It was a sentiment that the native Angeleno could relate to.
Perkins is no different from the millions who migrate across the country for school or for a new job. She moved to Washington DC over ten years ago to attend Howard University and ended up in New York City to pursue her career as a writer.
So what makes New York a more complementary fit for her than her hometown? Maybe that has something to do with the creative economy, a concept much discussed by “urban expert” Richard Florida in his book “Who’s Your City: How the Creative Economy is Making the Place Where You Live the Most Important Decision of Your Life,” which explored an interesting pattern of how one’s city environment influences productivity and creativity.
“I really think that being in New York and seeing people living and thriving outside of conventional standards has really benefitted my personal and professional trajectory in ways that would not have been realized had I remained in Los Angeles,” said Perkins. The Brooklyn resident and adjunct professor at City University New York believes that the high level of diversity in New York fosters creativity and comfort with one’s personal identity.

Teenage Sensation Keke Palmer - The One You Call (Official Video
I really like this young lady. She is a perfect role model for teenage girls. She has such positive energy and she is also very classy. She stresses the fact of letting young girls know that they don't have to be half naked to be successful. I love it. More young ladies should follow her lead and set a good example. I understand why she was honored at BET'S "Black Girls Rock" Awards earlier this month. And the girl can ACTUALLY SING! Not another hollywood face trying to branch out into music with no talent. Check out Miss KeKe Palmer up above. Support positivity
SN: She also used her OWN money for the video and she got her friends to be in the video for free lol! Go head KeKe

New Music!! Jazmine Sullivan Feat. Ne-Yo: U Get On My Nerves
First let me say that I am a fan of BOTH Jazmine Sullivan and Ne-Yo. So when I saw they did a duet together I was excited. Then I clicked "Play" and errr...ahhh..that excite most definetly went away. IT'S ALL NE-YO'S FAULT!! He sounded a dog gone MESS!! Oh my word!! Idk what he was going through but he needed to PASS THE MIC on this one. Jazmine sounds good but over-all this song has nothing on her first two singles "Holding You Down" and "10 Seconds". Remember this is just my opinion, you be the judge for yourself by clicking on the link to my youtube page below.

Black History Lane: This Day in Black History
This is a new section of my blog I'm starting entitled "Black History Lane". Here I will post significant events that happened in black history on said day. Although this is mainly an entertainment blog, I also want you to be able to come here and gain some type of knowledge of our history. There are so many "Black" entertainment blogs out, but I haven't seen one yet that posts anything other than gossip, or who was where and wore what. I feel as if you can mix both. Especially if a person has heavy traffic to their blog. Why not try and educate young black people a little and not just give them an outlet to fill their heads with a bunch of nonsense? With that being said I am VERY BIAS about what I post. I'm not going to post a bunch of foolishness. Ok moving along.
THIS DAY IN BLACK HISTORY:
1865- Mississippi passed the so-called "Black Codes" that barred blacks from jury service, testifying against whites in trials, bearing arms and attending white schools.
1866- Rust College in Mississippi was founded.
1880- Southern University was established.
1892- The first Black football game college football game was played between Biddle University and Livingstone College.
1897- J.L Love patents the pencil sharpener.

Gossip Zone: Chris Brown & Lady Gaga snubbed of their AMA's?v
Check this out. Allegedy Chris Brown was supposed to win the Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist Award at last night's American Music Awards and NOT Usher. It has been reported that a snitch oops I mean insider that worked for Neon Limelight (a company associated with the AMA's) tweeted shortly after the award was given to Usher that and I quote "Teleprompter backstage had Chris' name on it!! and "it even said he couldn't be there to accept!" If this is true the reason isn't exactly clear why the change was made but of course we all speculate it has something to do with the Rihanna situation. Some people just don't get over stuff.
Fantasia testifies she aborted ex-boyfriend's baby around the time of the "Overdose"
According to Radar Online, Fantasia stated today that she had an abortion around the time of her "overdose" in August, and that it was indeed her married ex-boyfriend Antwaun Cook's baby. Now get this, she broke the news in court, while testifying at Antwaun's divorce preceedings. SMH. Can this girl catch a break?! Good news is she has bounced back from said "overdose" and is currently headlining her first tour entitled "Back To Me" which is also the name of her latest album. The tour features Eric Benet & Kandi (formely of Xscape. To find out when the tour is in your town go to http://www.ticketmaster.com/. So KAT STACKS apparently is NOT getting DEPORTED
According to Media Takeout the infamous super groupie Kat Stacks is no longer getting deported. Supposedly here lawyers claimed that Venezuela ain't no joke and if she gets deported she may be killed. The judge bought it so if all is true she will be allowed to stay in the United States on Humanitarian Grounds pending a full hearing. Until then she is set to be released tomorrow. Just when all the rappers thought they were free lol. I can't wait to see her "I'm back B*tches" video lol.

T.I.'S MESSAGE FROM PRISON
T.I's camp released a message earlier today from him via prison. As weall know he recently went back to prison to serve an 11 month sentence for violating his probation. He described his time in prison as a "Pain I have never felt before".
He went on to say:
"I'm not trying to make any excuses for my situation but my father was a hustler that lived in New York. My uncle was a local big time dope boy turned 10 year federal inmate. My mother and grandparents did the best they could but I found my manhood in the trap and in prison systems. But I found it. And nan one of mine will ever have to feel the cold tight grip of a handcuff or grace the presence of a jail cell if I can."

THROWBACK THURSDAY: Ma$e - Lookin' At Me
This song brings back so many memories where do I begin? How bout my 8th grade home economics class. Man that class was so BAD! Poor Mrs. Lafontaine. We used to sing this song so loud in class lol. The lyrics were fun & relatable and the beat was fire. Despite unique Mase's style of rapping he rose to success in the late 90's with songs like "Feel So Good", "24 hrs To Live", "What You Want", and "Lookin' At Me". He made a brief comeback in the 2000's but quickly went back to the church & being a Pastor(side eye). I hear he is still signed to Bad Boy and still has one more album to make. I wonder how that is going to turn out..
Introducing: RASHEEM (Underground Artist of the Week)
I first got wind of Rasheem on Youtube about a year ago when he popped up in my suggestions. He was singing Brandy's Youtube version of Donnie Hathaway's "A Song For You". I was blown away. Aside from singing with so much soul, he was able to mimick Brandy's runs perfectly (which is not easy to do, especially for a male.) After watching more of his videos I was fully convinced that he is the male version of Brandy, as you will be too after watching the "Brandy Medley" video he put together up above. The music industry defintely needs someone like him. I have yet to hear a male in the game with his sound. Enjoy!
LOL! 50 TYSON -Don't know how to dougie but I know how to DIDDY
I can't help but lmbo at this. 50 has been telling us in all his videos he was going to blow up and his album was going to be coming out soon lol. I guess it's true when they say you speak things into existance huh? And to think, no one believed him. I know I sure didn't lol. I just have one question though, WHERE ARE THIS BOY'S PARENTS???
