Carmelo Anthony is Now A New York Knick

NBA.com confirms that Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony is now a New York Knick! All weekened long rumors were circulating that Carmelo was meeting with the New Jersey Nets & the New York Knicks during all-star weekend. When TNT analyst Craig Sager asked Carmelo during yesterday's all-star game had he made any official moves, LA Laker Guard Kobe Bryant jumped in and said he forbids Carmelo from answering. So that left people wondering was Carmelo going to return from all-star break a Nugget.

NBA/TNT analyst David Aldrige has confirmed the information below:
The Nuggets traded Melo to the New York Knicks tonight, a league source said. Denver gets Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov, the Knicks 2014 first-round draft pick, the Warriors’ 2012 second-round pick, the Warriors’ 2013 second-round pick and $3 million in cash.
Anthony will go to New York, along with Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman.
Melo didn't practice today with the Nuggets. It's safe to assume that Melo will sign a 3 year $65 million extension with the Knicks.

Melo & Mr. Glasses himself Amar'e Stoudemire along with veteran point guard Chauncey Billups will definetly make for good basketball BUT it's still team GREEN over here. GO CELTICS!!.
