Sequel To "Waiting To Exhale" May Be Coming Next Year

The 1992 novel turned movie that we all love, Waiting To Exhale, sequel Getting To Happy, may be coming to the big screen as early as next year. Author of Waiting To Exhale Terri McMillan released the novel sequel Getting To Happy in September of 2010 and she confirmed via her twitter account that she is working on the script for the movie version of the sequel and can be expected in 2012. Actressess Loretta Divine and Angela Bassett hinted that they would be in the sequel when doing press for the movie "Jumping the Broom", which they both co-star in. Whitney Houston is also said to be in negotiations for her part.
