Jamie Foxx To Bring Back 'Showtime At The Apollo'

I'm pretty sure we all remember those days when we used to stay up until the wee hours of the night to catch Showtime at the Apollo. The talent show themed show featured amateur acts that performed and were judged by the audience, and also featured performances by established acts. Many of today's artists got their start on apollo such as Lauryn Hill, Sammie, Jazmine Sullivan, Ne-yo, Jamie Foxx, and many many more.

Showtime at the Apollo ran for 21 years before it was canceled in 2008 and now actor/singer/comedian Jamie Foxx has decided to bring it back. Jamie will act as executive producer for the show which will air on BET.

Man Starts Fight With Jamie Foxx at Club..Jermaine Dupri Tries to Help

 OK! Magazine  that last night Actor/Singer/Comedian Jamie Foxx was sitting at a table with Jermaine Dupri at the Avalon in Hollywood for the Belvedere Red Special Edition Launch Party watching an Usher performance when a man approached the table. He and Jamie talked for a minute then all of a sudden BOOM, Jamie gets punched. A full fight broke out and Jermaine as well as 5 other men tried to break it up. Eventually the fight was broken up and the man was kicked out and Jamie was escorted out safely by his security.

Reasoning being he's the only one that can actually sing!! Haha!. But to each their own. Forgive me if I've forgotten anyone, this is off the top of my head.
