Lupe Fiasco on Success of B.O.B's 'Nothing On You': " I Was Lightly Suicidal"

Rapper & Atlantic Records recording artist Lupe Fiasco has been busy during promo for his third album "Lasers" . He recently sat down with The Guardian and revealed that he had contemplated suicide over labelmate B.O.B's success of "Nothing On You" which was originally Lupe's song. The label wasn't feeling Lupe's version so there it went to B.O.B. Peep what Lupe had to say and listen to Lupe's verses. Check out what Lupe had to say and listen to his version of "Nothing On You" below.
"That was the tipping point. It was less about the bruised ego but more the audacity of it. It was mentally destructive. I say it with a certain laissez-faire now because I’m past it, but back then, hearin’ that s**t, it f**ked me up. I was super-depressed, lightly suicidal, at moments medium suicidal – and if not suicidal, willing to just walk away from it all completely.”
