Fantasia To Play Gospel Legend Mahalia Jackson..Told To Gain 30-45 lbs

 R&B singer Fantasia has just landed her first major role. The American Idol winner is set to play Gospel Legend Mahalia Jackson in the film adaptation of the 1993 book Got to Tell It: Mahalia Jackson, Queen of Gospel. There have been rumors circulating that Fantasia was pregnant but in fact she is not. She has been instructed to gain 30-45 pounds for the film so that is why she is lookin a little plumper these days.

This last year for Fantasia has been rough. She had so much drama in her life from messing with a married man, to attempting suicide, to admitting she aborted her married lover's baby, and being sued by her lover's wife. With all that going on she still managed to pull it together and put out her first number one album "Back To Me" and headline her first tour. I think that this movie is exactly what she needs to redeem herself completely. Like Wendy Williams said "she was born for this role."
