Video: A Peak Inside Monica & Shannon Brown's Wedding

This past Saturday (July 9th) r&b singer Monica and Shannon Brown wed for a second time. The couple initially wed in a small private ceremony back in November. This time around both of the couple's friends and families were there with Trina, Ciara, Ludacris' girlfriend Euxodie, and Kobe's wife Vanessa as bride's maids; Kobe, Ludacris and Derek Fisher also took part in the wedding as a groomsman. The wedding was blue themed with guests being asked to wear different shades of blue as well. Amongst the attendees were LL Cool J and his wife, Kandi and her mother, Toya and her new husband Memphitz, Jermaine Dupri, Cee-Lo, Ashanti, Nelly, NeNe Leakes, Lala and many more.

No official photos have been released yet from the wedding and guest were asked not to tweet, take photos, or record doing the wedding or reception. However, Monica did give the entertainment news show The Insider and correspondent Kevin Frazier a special invite and exclusive coverage of the wedding.

RHOA's Miss Lawrence Talk's New Single and Upcoming Projects

I don't know about y'all, but I like Sheree's hairstylist Lawrence aka "Miss Lawrence" on the Real Housewives Of Atlanta. Recently he sat down with Bossip to discuss his return to music and his new single that dropped today "Closet Freak" which was released on fellow RHOA cast member Kandi's Kandi Koated Entertainment. Check out the interview below.

On his musical background:

I’ve always had a gift of song. I’ve been singing since I was little, and I started singing professionally between [the ages of] 12 and 13. But it was very much Gospel, very much message music, inspirational ballads and stuff like that. I’ve performed with some elite orchestras and I’ve traveled all over Europe and everything. At the same time, I had a strong interest in the beauty industry.

By the time I was 18, I took a break from singing because I knew I had a great voice, but I didn’t know what my calling was. I pretty much found who I was in the beauty industry. And that’s where I adapted the whole “Miss Lawrence” persona. 

On singing Gospel music as an openly gay artist:

I think message music and Gospel music touches home for everybody. It’s about what you feel on the inside. I still am very close to Gospel music. I sing a Gospel song pretty much every morning when I wake up. Me singing Gospel music, or any artist singing Gospel music that is gay, I would hope that no one would worry about what the world thinks about them. That’s something that’s personal, for me anyway.

Usher's ex-wife Tameka starts twitter Beef with Kandi (formerly of Xscape)

So last night Kandi appeared on the Bravo show What Happens Live,a live mini talk show that comes on after Real Housewives of Atlanta. During the show the host Andy had Kandi & her mother participate in a little game called "Andy Coated" ( named after Kandi's online show Kandi Koated Nights). One of the questions was what celebrity would she sleep with and she said Usher cause she heard he was good in bed. She also went on to say right after that she really wouldn't do it cause they were friends. Kandi's mother's choice was Robert De Niro lmao idk what that's all about.

Ok here comes the drama. As soon as Miss Kandi mentioned Usher, some messy fan tweeted Usher's ex-wife Tameka Raymond this:

Now instead of Tameka acting like a grown 40 somethin year old woman and ignoring the instigator, she had this to say:

And you know somebody had to let Miss Kandi know that she was being talked about so here's what she had to say:

Now Tameka didn't respond back to Kandi directly but she did say this which makes no sense since she is the one that started the whole thing:

Tameka needs to get somewhere and sit down. She is still trying to ride the Usher train smh. She needs to realize that nobody cares about her old self. She is a disgrace to the bay.
