New Video: Diggy Simmons - "Copy, Paste"

Rev Run's son Diggy Simmons drops the video for his first official single, "Copy, Paste". The 16 year old, who signed to Atlantic records last year, talked to Rap-Up.com about the concept of the song and video.

“‘Copy, Paste’ is about just giving an anthem to original people, innovators, people that feel like their style’s been copy, pasted. I’m in a laboratory and I’m hooked up to wires and different stuff. I have like a bandage over my stomach. There’s laboratory girls in the scene, but it’s just about them trying to copy and paste me.”

Today 16 year old rapper Diggy Simmons (son of Rev Run) released his first official single "Copy,Paste", off of his still unnamed debut album.

Another Track Jacked From Lupe Fiasco: Diggy Simmons Feat Bruno Mars- "Click Clack Away"

According to Rap Radar , this song was initially titled "Make My Day" and was originally intended for Lupe Fiasco. This adds to the list of songs that were originally intended for Lupe and given to someone else. Earlier this month I reported that Lupe had originally recorded B.O.B's "Airplanes" and at one point he was suicidal over B.O.B's success of "Nothing On You", which he too had originally recorded. Lupe is featured on one of Diggy's tracks "Oh Yeah" where in the beginning of the song Lupe acknowledges himself as Diggy's "big brother" so it's evident the two have a close relationship. With all this swapping of tracks it kind of makes you think.... what's really going on?
